An arched, lime-washed gateway opens onto an acre of farmland where coconut palms lean over clipped lawns and low-pitched roofs settle quietly among the trees. The air carries the cool, easy weather that Bengaluru's northern countryside is known for, and the Makalidurga ridge rises somewhere beyond the treeline. The gate closes, and the city stops mattering.

Inside, the design is unapologetically bohemian. River-stone arches frame one bedroom wall, exposed brick warms another, and hand-troweled ochre plaster catches the light throughout the day. Woven rattan pendants hang from soaring rafters, sculpted alcoves hold curated ceramics and brass, and a wall of organic-shaped mirrors throws light across the plum-toned seating below.
